Sharing is caring!

OK let me show you how to make some of the tastiest deviled eggs ever. Deviled eggs are a great snack that are great for those that are on keto diets or watching your carb intake. These spicy keto deviled eggs are so wonderful with just the right amount of zip to them. I love all kind of deviled eggs, but these are my favorite traditional spicy deviled eggs.

My deviled eggs have a little horseradish in them which gives them a nice kick and unique flavor. Of course you should always use the usual ingredients like mayo and mustard. But then you can add many other ingredients to make them to you specific taste. I like spicy and sweet.

I don’t know too many people that don’t like deviled eggs. they are great any time of the day. They are excellent for a morning brunch, daily snacks or with a picnic. I make deviled eggs and keep them in refrigerator for a healthy snack when I want something quick and healthy. Deviled eggs are much healthier than a handful of chips.

They have minimal carbs which are great if your on a low carb keto diet. They have very few calories. And are great source of protein.

Ingredients:

  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Mayo
  • Mustard
  • Horseradish
  • Sweet relish
  • Green onion or chives
  • Garlic
  • Pepper
  • Salt (opt.)

So to get started you’ll need to prep the eggs first by placing the eggs in a pot water that is boiling. Reduce the heat and then add the eggs gently to the water. Boil the eggs for 12-14 minutes for a perfect hard boiled egg. I have found that after the eggs have cooked pour the hot water out and add cold water. Then peel them under cold water helps loosen the eggshell.

Cut the egg in half after cooled. take the yolk out and put then in a bowl then add all the ingredients mixing well. Put the yolk mixture back in to the egg white and there you have it a nummy spicy deviled egg. Quick and easy.

How long can you keep deviled eggs before they go bad?

The recommended time is a week. If they last that long then you should throw them out.

Can you leave hard boiled eggs out a night?

No you should refrigerate them after 2 hours. After that bacteria can start growing and you don’t want that.

Give these deviled eggs a try I’m sure your going to love them. They are full of flavor with just the right amount of kick to them. You can make them as spicy as you like.
